Hello to All,

I am having some issues with my  http://i.qa.viglink.com/%3ckey=d7d7aa5ced1ebc0821effbccab897fa0&insertId=29e062c2&type=H&exp=60%3ACI1C55A%3A11&libId=jjgtbh56010009ks000DA8ac7afgg&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fforum.asrock.com%2Fforum_posts.asp%3FTID%3D8037%26PID%3D53488%26%2353488&v=1&out=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FASRock-Motherboard-Combo-Motherboards-J3455B-ITX%2Fdp%2FB01M7OUO62&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fforum.asrock.com%2Fnew_reply_form.asp%3FTID%3D8037%26PN%3D5%26TR%3D47&title=Warning%2C%20J3455B%2FJ3455-ITX%2FJ4205-ITX%20BIOS%20brick%20!%20-%20ASRock%20Forums%20-%20Page%205&txt=%3Cspan%3EJ3455B%3C%2Fspan%3E%3Cspan%3E-%3C%2Fspan%3E%3Cspan%3EITX%3C%2Fspan%3E" rel="nofollow - J3455B-ITX  @ 1.70
It is not bricked but it will give me 5 short beeps after every restart and there will be no video output during POST. Board keeps booting normally and video resumes as soon as the windows driver is loaded. However video will not resume after sleep whenever the 5 beeps have been heard on startup. When the system is turned on after a shutdown everything works normally (i.e no beeps, video present during POST and video always resumes after sleep in windows). All these problems started after I updated to BIOS version 1.7.

I want to downgrade to 1.3 as I had no problems with the system whatsoever back then.  http://i.qa.viglink.com/%3ckey=d7d7aa5ced1ebc0821effbccab897fa0&insertId=e78f7a99&type=H&exp=60%3ACI1C55A%3A11&libId=jjgtbh56010009ks000DA8ac7afgg&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fforum.asrock.com%2Fforum_posts.asp%3FTID%3D8037%26PID%3D53488%26%2353488&v=1&out=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FRetro-Vintage-Instant-Camera-T-shirt%2Fdp%2FB01L6EWO16&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fforum.asrock.com%2Fnew_reply_form.asp%3FTID%3D8037%26PN%3D5%26TR%3D47&title=Warning%2C%20J3455B%2FJ3455-ITX%2FJ4205-ITX%20BIOS%20brick%20!%20-%20ASRock%20Forums%20-%20Page%205&txt=%3Cspan%3EInstant%20%3C%2Fspan%3E%3Cspan%3EFlash%3C%2Fspan%3E" rel="nofollow - Instant Flash  will not detect the BIOS image for 1.3 on my flash drive. I assume that the board does not allow BIOS downgrading for some reason.

Moreover the DOS way of updating does not work for me. The flashing process does not start after the restart for some reason.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could downgrade the BIOS back to 1.3?

Thank you very much in advance.

Regards,
kped.

I have faced some similar problems when establishing the wifi connectivity on y Hp camera. You can uninstall the drive settings and disable your flash drive completely. Take support from https://hpsupports.co/hp-camera-support/" rel="nofollow - hp tech suppor t as you may find similar solutions. Then you can install the BIOS as new.
