On my previous Asrock board with Intel chipset there was this(reading from the manual): "ASRock Crashless BIOS allows users to update their BIOS without fear of failing. If power loss occurs during the BIOS updating process, ASRock Crashless BIOS will automatically finish the BIOS update procedure after regaining power. Please note that BIOS files need to be placed in the root directory of your USB disk. Only USB 2.0 ports support this feature. " It was a great feature in my opinion (similar to Asus CrashFree), that makes the BIOS update procedure less "scary". It would be nice if it would return in the future (maybe with the upcoming B450 boards). |

checked on new intel chipset doesn't seem to say it has this feature either so maybe. 1. it might be a useless feature or 2. standard feature it doesn't gets mentioned -------------
