After updating my BIOS for no real reason, my computer has been sketchy at best and crashy at worst. I can't confirm a direct link, but it's been acting up over the last few days while doing all sorts of basic operations, and the only thing I've changed is this BIOS update.

I have an  https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20X370%20Gaming%20K4/index.asp#BIOS" rel="nofollow - Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4 , and I believe I was running on BIOS 3.00 up until recently; no way to 100% confirm, but that's the last firmware I found in my download folders before this last jump. I know that normally you can roll back a BIOS without too many issues, but I was hoping for a second opinion on this one.

Specifically, I did two updates: one to 3.50 (which the website lists as a 'bridge BIOS' necessary to get the later versions), and then updated again to the latest version of 4.80. Would I be able to flash back to 3.00 without consequence, or could this 3.50 Bridge BIOS change something fundamental which makes it impossible to downgrade?

Thanks in advance to anybody weighing in; I'm filled with regret and just want to undo my mistake, so any input would be most appreciated!

Don't have the Fatal1ty boards, but the Taichi.  I am able to flash back to 3.30 which is our Bridge BIOS and roll back to 3.20 bios with no problems at all.  Honestly, there's no point in updating BIOS till it's a bit more stable.

" rel="nofollow - Awesome, thanks for chiming in!  I'll try rolling back, fingers crossed it'll fix the issues I've been having.  No idea what else the problem could be, but hopefully I can just try and test until I get back to where things should be.  Don't know why I even updated in the first place, what was I thinking? <.<;;
