Hello, I'm trying to install a linux OS on a new build.
I don't have
an OS yet, but I tried installing an ubuntu studio .iso onto a USB after using
"universal USB installer". I plugged it in, the install wizard screen opened up,I
clicked the preview OS button, and a bunch of code appeared saying
this... "End Kernal Panic - not syncing: attempted to kill init!".
This is my first ever computer build and my intention for it is to be a multimedia (video/photo editing, 3D rendering, VFX, etc.) workstation Ive never used a Linux OS and am looking for something geared toward my needs, as well as some advice as to how I can install it. If you know a better OS you would recommend I'm open to suggestions, otherwise/and/or some help as to why I'm getting this error message and how to solve it would be great. If it matters, here are my parts, https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4HbtKB" rel="nofollow - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4HbtKB

" rel="nofollow - Yes the parts list is very important ! Have you run Memtest to make sure the ram is good ? Even new ram can have an issue. Also the x470 chipset is very new, are you sure the version of Ubuntu you tried has drivers for it ?
