I'm here to get some light of crashes and boot loop that I've got recently on my system. Couple of mouths ago, I've got a brand new computer AM4 base. I?™ve OCed it and test stability with 6h of prine95, OCCT, memtest, couple of games all working fine. Recently I've bought a new screen with an eye tracker. And that's then the screen just turn black without any warning of BSOD and the computer restart. It happened randomly, on low load (internet browsing), and while launching the game Hunt Showdown the computer restarted and be stock in boot loops. I must manually switch off/on the power supply to use the computer again. Since then, I've tried every setting possible: check drivers, revert to my old screen, uninstall the Tobii software, downclock CPU and RAM, downgrade bios from 4.6 to 3.3 but I still got black and computer restart. The only thing I?™ve notice is that increasing all fans speed seems to delay the problem but don?™t stop it. Because
of that, I think it?™s a overheat issue but during Prime95 max temperatures (°C)
seems to check using HWINFO:
So what do you think guys? I?™m kinda out of ideas/ solutions. PS: my computer with ?œstable??OC:

i think the bclk of 108 hasnt helped anything over 103 is deemed to corrupt the pcie link and thus your nvme may have got date corruption hardly anyone is even using blck on am4 for that reason also the ram 3300mhz......... but high timings try 3200 at lower timings for actually better performamnce you have done *trick* overclocking but fior the am4 platform its all wrong really mate if the problem is still present with no overclock im assuming you have corrupted data files now on windows ------------- [url=https://valid.x86.fr/jpg250]  [/url]3800X, powercolor reddevil vega64, gskill tridentz3866, taichix370, evga750watt gold |

" rel="nofollow - Thank you for you answer, I've clean the NVMe and reinstall win10. What's the point of having the BCLK and optional clock then? What are you using to stress test you RAM? Because I've been using Prime95 and Memtest but they don't seems effective. Or maybe it was of data corruption. Edit: Just got the problem again with the fresh install and even without SATA drives.

2 months later update:
Still same issue, random black out then bootloop that I can stop only if i switch off the power supply. Since then, I've made a RMA for the power supply and get a new power supply (and there serial number differ). I tried this one but didn't solved my issue, though using my old power supply (Corsair 400 CW 80+ Bronze) and I've got no issues. Then I thought it maybe be the motherboard, I send it back to Amazon, they
refund me bought the same motherboard (Asrock Taichi X370) and the issues is
back with the EVGA Power Supply but nothing with the Corsair one ... Either, the new power supply is still defective, or another component is failing. Though, I've got only CPU, RAM and GPU left. Any ideas? |
