" rel="nofollow - Ok so here's the weird thing, I have a G.Skill Trident Z RGB RAM 3200 Bus and an Asrock B350 fatality gaming k4 board. I was using an Asus Strix RX 470 card, and my RAM was running at 3200 mhz frequency using XMP profile 2.1 flawlessly. Today I got a Gigabyte Aorus RX 570, and noticed that during the first boot the system would turn on and off a couple of times before finally booting.

After different things I finally reset my BIOS which seemed to fix the boot-loop issue. But when I tried to to use XMP and set my bus speed at 3200 mhz again, the on and off issue re-surfaced. It seems I can't go beyond 2400 mhz now using XMP, any more and the system becomes unstable.

I already have the latest BIOS installed and my single stick 8 GB Ram is placed on the third slot of the motherboard. What do you guys think is happening? I have already read that some people can't get their RAM's beyond 2900 mhz on Ryzen systems, but my point is I already had it running at 3200 mhz earlier so why did GPU swap cause this issue?

Any insights and advice would be much appreciated and my cpu is a Ryzen 5 1400 and I haven't overclocked it. If you need any further info to make an educated guess, please let me know. Thanks in advance :)
