Running 500GB ssd for 1st drive with 3TB HDD second drive.

Already checked that HDD is not set for 'hot swap' in bios & that i'Write Caching' is enabled in Device Manager.

Probably not helpful, but I recall reading in this forum an user with a similar issue (internal HDD/SSD reported as removable) with the AB350 (most probably) or X370 chipset...

Yeah, a bit annoying. especially when the only option in the task bar is 'safely remove hardware' which then dissapears your 2nd drive from file explorer :o(
