Subject: x470 DrDebug 24

" rel="nofollow - I have a Fatal1ty x470 with a AMD x2700x cpu and 2 sticks of GSkill Trident 8GB F4 3200C160D 16GTZR ram. I have a 1TB M2 970 EVO SSD and a 6TB WD HDD. The GPU is an EVGA 1080ti with 8GB of memory.

I Keep getting a DrDebug error of 24, which relates to memory problems.
However the Motherboard screen states that the 2 sticks of 8GB ram are there and are located in slots A2 and B2.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

" rel="nofollow - tried with single stick of ram in slot A2, switched sticks and same result. Removed cmos battery and left for 5 minutes prior to single ram stick test. Board is only a couple of months old, should I put in pport tciket?

" rel="nofollow - At what point do you see this?  (sitting in BIOS, during normal operation, ???) Are there any other symptoms?
My Taichi Dr.Debug will occasionally show memory-related codes while in some of the BIOS screens, but they go away when I continue the boot into the OS.

Its after the PC boots up completely. During boot I see a variety of codes, but the 24 stays there

No trouble booting the machine. It boots fine - I just get the DrDebug code 24 after it boots

" rel="nofollow - I think it might be. Does anyone know how to turn that setting off or is it an all or nothing thing with DrDebug?

Thanks for all the help

It's in the BIOS somewhere.  You can set it to display various temps or you can turn it off after boot.  I forget where the setting is, you'll have to treasure-hunt for it.
