" rel="nofollow - Hi everyone,

The wifi on my new windows 10 ASROCK X299 taichi XE continues to refuse to be enabled.

I updated to latest 1.40 bios
updated the Intel wifi drivers to 20.70

still refuses to switch over to "on" even though everything else looks okay. I can connect via wired ethernet just fine.

other details
- both antennae are plugged in
- Samsung 970 pro NVME boot drive
- i9 7080xe cpu
- 128gb ddr4 g.skill ram @ 3200mhz

I've been searching tips, but everything points to updating the drivers above.

The ASRock Wifi Utility is installed, but turning it on/off/closing it doesn't solve problem.

any other ideas or success people have had?

thanks so much

Brian

First of try the Driver on the Motherboard Support page
https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/X299%20Taichi%20XE/index.asp#Download
Does Bluetooth work? Because it uses the same antennas.

Dear Bvalente,

Thank you for choosing ASRock.

Please set the BIOS WAN radio option to enable to try.

BIOS path: Advanced > Chipset Configuration > WAN radio

*Press F10 to save the configuration after changing the BIOS setting

Thank you!

Yours truly,

ASRock TSD
