It works in 2 channel mode only and doesn't work in quad channel.
Update to BIOS 200 no work.
Is my board broken?

Dear MrPanda,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

According to your question, we provide some suggestions for verifying:

1. Please install memory modules to other systems to check if it can be detected properly.
2. Make sure all memory modules are functional; please install one memory to each DRAM slot by turns to verify.
3. If possible, please change another CPU to verify since memory controller is built-in CPU.
4. If possible, please change another RAM to verify.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD

What slots do you have the RAM installed in and how many modules are installed?

You need to have 4 modules of RAM installed with one in each of the following slots:

DDR4_D2
DDR4_C2
DDR4_A2
DDR4_B2

If you have 8 modules then all slots should be populated.

If you do not have those 4 slots populated with RAM then you will not be running Quad Channel.

If you do have 4 modules of RAM in the correct slots then try ASRock_TSD's recommendations. Good luck and let us know how it goes Wink

Just chiming in to say I had the same problem, and the same solution.  I have an x399 Professional Gaming motherboard, Threadripper 2990wx, and 4 x 8GB Kingston HyperX 2400 DDR4 (HX424C15FW2K4/32).  Switching out RAM sticks didn't work.  Unplugging the PSU and mashing the Clear CMOS button for ten seconds, then upgrading to BIOS 2.2, then to 3.3, didn't solve the problem.  (My computer would just power cycle continually with 2.2 as it couldn't recognize the Threadripper 2--I had to use the Flashback button and a USB stick without powering on [cool feature!].)  Then I took off the cooler and TIM, raised and lowered the TR4 bracket down as straight as I could, reapplied TIM and cooler, and Ã« moë! Problem solved!  Thanks!
