" rel="nofollow - Hi there! I am planning to buy Z370 Taichi mobo.

I would have:
8086k CPU
Crucial MX500 1TB SATA III SSD
G SKILL F4-3000C16D-16GTZR RAM
Corsair 570x case

My question is: is it all going to work together? Would I be able to run/sync RGB?

The 8086K is only officially supported from BIOS P1.80 onward:

https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z370%20Taichi/index.asp#CPU" rel="nofollow - https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z370%20Taichi/index.asp#CPU

I know the 8086k is basically a rebranded 8700k but I don't know if it will post on a board without a supporting BIOS. Personally I would just go with the 8700k and save yourself the potential headache then overclock a little to get the same performance.

You can use any RGB u want, but u can only sync RGB Strips connected to your mainboard.

The question about 8086k support was answered by ASRock_TSD:

Quote Dear CharliePL,

Intel i7-8086k can boot up with Z370 Taichi all BIOS version.

Yours truly,

ASRock TSD
