" rel="nofollow - I have an Z370 Extreme4 with BIOS v1.30, and no functioning processor at the moment.

I plan to purchase the new i9-9900K processor and run it in my Z370 Extreme4.

Will I be able to successfully update the BIOS from v1.30 to v3.10 via Instant Flash using a new 8-core processor?

No. Since only v3.1 Supports the i9's your board wont recognize the CPU and therefore wont boot and you cant flash it if it does not boot. But some stores Pre flash it for you
