" rel="nofollow - Hello,
I have bought three X399 Taichi Boards with 2990WX and 128 GB Ram. The Ram is listet in the QVL. Sadly I can only boot Windows with 64GB installed. If I put 5-8 Rams in, I ran into BSOD. The RAM is F4-2400C15D-32GFX. I have this behaviour on all three machines. I tried to set the RAM to 2133 and 1866. Any hope to get this to work?

Hello,
I tried to downgrade to BIOS 2.0 with an 1950X and the System works fine. I tried then Update to 2.3. It works. I installed 3.2 and 3.3 and it did not work with the 1950X and 128GB RAM.

I disabled IOMMU in Advanced/Northbridge (Found this for Problems with 1607 Win 10 and older). And the System boots again.

I changed then back to my 2999WX and the System boots and stays stable in p95.

Sadly the System only boots, if it fails 2 times and the windows repair runs once...

Okay you see the "DIMM Socket Support Tab" in the Memory QVL?
Your memory only Gets 2 that means asrock only confirms that this RAM is compatibel when u use only 2 sticks of ram. Everything else is base on your luck

Hello,
yeah - I corrupted my windows installation during this process. So I used a new SSD with a nother Windows Installed on it. This time it works without any problems If I disabled this IOMMU function.

Also ASRock told me that they will check this in the BIOS dev. They will give me feedback on Mon/Thu
