Hi all.
First time building PC.
Got B550m Pro4 motherboard with sticker BIOS version P3.40 and https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/processors/ryzen/ryzen-5000-series/amd-ryzen-5-5500gt.html#amd_support_product_spec" rel="nofollow - Ryzen 5 5500GT (Cezanne) , with integrated graphics card. CPU should be supported, as per https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/B550M%20Pro4/index.asp#CPU" rel="nofollow - CPU support page

i got thermaltake toughpower sfx 850w as my PSU. CPU is connected using CPU cable.

got only RAM and CPU on the board. some SATA cables, connected to motherboard, disconnected on other end.

when powering on, CPU and DRAM lights turn on, then off, after what VGA and BOOT lights turn on and don't turn off.

tried both with and without HDMI cable connected. tried removing CMOS battery, waiting for 5 minutes, putting it back again.

please help me understand what might be the issue and how to fix it.

Hey man, did you end up solving this problem? I have a ryzen 5 5500, and I'm getting the same problem. I have my GPU in and everything, it runs. When I power on it gets stuck on the initial logo/boot screen and doesn't POST. Also, vga and boot lights are on, but not cpu or vram. I'm so confused.

no solution, even after troubleshooting with technical support over email.
was my first custom built pc, a pity.

ended up swapping with i3 14100 and gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4 -- 0 effort build.

Sorry to hear you couldn't get the issue resolved. Congrats on getting things
resolved and on your first build, I hope your issues didn't put you off
Sadly it happens sometimes, regardless of brand and model.
