Hello,
Windows 10 will not allow my Z270 Extreme 4 mobo PC to update to version 1903 stating my Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver is out-of-date and would cause stability issues. If I go to the Intel download site they recommend I do not update it unless my mobo manufacturer provides the update. Asrock App Shop states "No available update on the server". Microsoft indicates Intel RST drivers 15.5.2.1054 or later are compatable. My system has ver. 15.5.0.1051. Is there safe working version of RST that I can use on my Z270 Extreme 4? Thanks |

Frankly I would deinstall the IRST drivers completely. Are they of any use anyway? IMO not. Then try again. For the common user in general it is fully enough to just install the "INF"-drivers offered for most (all?) motherboards on their manufacturer sites.
Had also the mentioned point once, "update IRST" blabla, generates much ado about nothing IMO. |
