Hello, now in January I bought a new PC, but I have a problem, when raising the frequency or activating XMP (16-18-18-36@1.35V), a few days later the BIOS is reset.
I did stress tests with AIDA and I had no problem. My memory is Samsung B-die. I configured the timings manually and I also had the same problem. The BIOS is updated to the latest version (2.90). I put the memories in slots A2-B2. My setup: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X | Asrock B450M Steel Legend | Adata XPG Spectrix D41 TUF 2x8GB DDR4 3000Mhz | MSI GTX 1050 AERO ITX | Corsair CX-430W | DeepCool Gammaxx GTE |

I have this same problem and would also like to know some advice on how to correct this.. I'll set the XMP to overclock to 3200, but for no known reason it will reset back to 2333. My specs are in signature.

its telling you it cant run the ram at 3200 with the timings the ram wants to set either run ram at 2933 or follow the settings from the free software called ryzen dram calculator for safe 3200 more detailed answer your cpu although very able really cannot control the ram at the timings set by the motherboard based on the rams SPD data it probably could with just 2 sticks but 4 sticks is much extra strain on mem controller the real issue is the bios isnt making the best choice/guess for some of the ram timings and thuis its crapping out on boot test and resetting to defaults if you manually enter the timings from the ryzen calculator it 'should' be able to handle them |
