I cannot let my board B450M Steel Legend use as dual channel. It shows 16GB (2*8GB) but in single channel.
The same memory test on another system is working well, how come? |

Dear Jabewack18111984,
Greetings, this is ASRock TSD. To activate dual channel mode, it is required to install identical memory on A1/B1 or A2/B2 slot. According to your question, we provide some suggestions for verifying: 1. Please press [F9] to load BIOS to default settings and press [F10] save and exit. 2. Make sure both memory are functional, please install one memory to each DRAM slot by turns to verify. 3. If possible, please change another CPU to verify since memory controller is built-in CPU. 4. If possible, please change another RAM. Thanks! All the best, ASRock TSD |
