Hi all.
I have a bit of a problem.. I have a Taichi x570 with 1.80 bios. 2x m.2 NVMe WD red 500gb drives are installed in m.2 slots 1 and 3. documentation says these drives have a sata3 interface so I cant use slot 2. I can see that both drives show up in "advanced>storage configuration" under "storage devices list" however only one drive shows up under the raid expert2 utility. and only one drive shows up when I go to install windows (i have installed win10 twice, just 1 drive in slot 1 and installed windows to each drive to see if the drives are actually working and when its just got one drive in the system, it can install windows correctly to both drives) BIOS settings I have changed are: advanced>storage configuration mode = RAID advanced>AMD PBS>NVMe RAID mode = enabled boot>CMS = enabled and disabled (tryed both, no luck) I have been following the official documentation on how to set up RAID: https://download.asrock.com/Manual/RAID/X570%20Taichi/English.pdf I have no arrays to delete and in advanced>RAIDexpert2> controller managment\ rescan discs Im only seeing one disc: "physical disc 0:1:4, SATA/SSD, 500gb ready" this same disc is the only one showing up under the array creation option. At this point Ive confirmed that m.2 slots 1 and 3 are working and both drives are working. However Im stuck at what to try next. Any help would be greatly appreciated |
