Hi

I have a new trx40 taichi board with a 3970X installed.
My issue is that after every third or fourth restart the board freezes with code 99.
Even if I restart from an operating system, or just do a restart from bios/uefi settings.
What should I check to make this issue disappear?
Thank you

And another important thing, that reset or power button restart do not solves the issue, I have to totally power off the whole computer for a few seconds

error code 99 is related to PCIe devices I believe .. ie .. your video card.

You could try reseating your card .. if it takes dual 8/6 pin connectors .. try using 2 different leads instead of using dual plugs off of same lead .. try a different monitor cable (not all cables are created equal) ..

Thank you
Swapped the video card power cable to another output, and reseated the video card.
After a day, it seems working :)

Question2: If this board is no capable for thunderbolt option, then why do we have thunderbolt enable in bios?

I believe that is needed if you install a thunderbolt add in card. The board will
need to know what slot you have the add in card installed in for it to work. The
problem with add in thunderbolt cards is that they are not all compatible with
all boards that support one. Some are specific to certain boards.
