I am running into issues with devices connected to the first two SATA ports. They disconnect mid use or have issues being recognized at boot (stalling boot for up to a few minutes).

My Configuration:

X470 Master SLI/AC (AC removed)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 2700x
RAM: Crucial 2x 32GB(2x16GB) @ 3200MHz - (also occurred on 2x16GB @ 2666MHz)
M2_1: Crucial MX 500 1TB m.2 SATA drive
M2_2: Crucial MX 500 500GB m.2 SATA drive (cache for HDDs)
SATA 6: 12.7TB HDD
SATA 5: 12.7TB HDD
SATA 4: 8TB HDD
SATA 3: 4TB HDD
SATA 2: empty
SATA 1: empty
PCIE1: x16 - AMD Radeon RX Vega 56
PCIE2: empty
PCIE3: empty
PCIE4: empty
PCIE5: Bluetooth & Wifi card
PCIE6: empty
TPMS1: Asrock TMP1.2 Module
All fans are populated
ATX12V1&2 are plugged in
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64Bit

SATA IO is set to ACHI

I have tried a blu-ray optical drive and HDD, 4 different SATA cables.

I am thinking there is a undocumented coupling between the m.2's and the SATA drives like older motherboards had. Maybe the first two SATA are used by the m.2 when in SATA mode? I messaged ASRock a week or so ago and haven't heard back so can't confirm.

Any ideas? This was a problem before I upgrade my ram and overclocked it.

Can't figure out how to edit - forgot bios:

BIOS: P3.40 - AMD AGESA Combo-AM4 1.0.0.3

Based on my understanding this is the latest supported bios for my CPU & Motherboard combo.
