Hi and thanks for reading. Apologies if I miss any information needed or miss proper etiquette (first post).

The parts used as follows -

        ASRock A520M Pro4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
     AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor
Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID ML120L RGB V2 65.59 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
        Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory
Kingston A400 480 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Gigabyte Radeon RX 570 4 GB GAMING Video Card
Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower Case
Corsair CXM 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply
Cooler Master MasterFan Pro Air Flow 53 CFM 140 mm Fans 3-Pack

I have a new build PC (my first one which may explain any clear issues that show) which I completed yesterday. I went to try the first boot today and found all the fans powered on and ran - but not much else and no monitor output.

On a first inspection I noticed one of the RAM sticks was not fully in and slightly out on one end. So after stopping everything and resetting it in position to the point that it was fully in.

On this boot all the fans seemed to boot and then stop 3 times before we got back to them running and no monitor output.

So I'm wondering if anyone can suggest what may be the issue and a path of action to resolve it.

Now I did take note of the motherboard Post Status Checker lights - but was a little confused and not sure I fully understood.

On initial boot the DRAM and CPU lights are on, before switching off. Following this shortly the Boot light flashes on for a brief moment. Then after a second or so the boot and vga lights come on, before all lights are left off and the fans are left running.

Any help would be great as I'd like to try to pinpoint what the issue is before I start looking for any paid for help or having to replace parts such as the CPU.

Thanks again for reading and please let me know if I have missed any information which is needed.

Hello @Danny292,

You have successfully BOOTED and GPU error. Check your monitor power cable, all the way to source power.

Assuming your monitor has a led turn on light to indicate power on, does it light up£

or is your monitor one of those super modern super stealth no indicator at all£ then you must check to if they's a backlight on or not, wagely seen under the black screen temporary when power is turned on first time.

If no signal it will go to sleep after few seconds.

Check GPU signal cable to monitor.

two supporting facts you gave: -
1) you said = seemed to boot and then stop 3 times before we got back to them running.
1-1)this says BIOS turned for the first time, some super deep level POST check succesful then reboot (my technical terms may be wrong)
1-2)there's a 2nd set of deep level POST test OK then reboot (my technical terms may be wrong)
1-3) finally fully running boot normal POST ok.

2) you said = vga lights come on, before all lights are left off and the fans are left running.
This is GPU check ok no problem boot success. You have video, if not£ then it's monitor problem.

Good luck.
