Hello,
I have a problem that I have narrowed down to most likely originate from Intel Management Engine. My PC powers off after 30 minutes. This happens both in the OS (Win10) and in the BIOS. Initially I thought it might be an issue with the power supply, but after I changed it with a new one, the problem persisted. I tried isolating faulty hardware by removing each RAM stick and hard drive from the system. I tried stressing the CPU and the GPU using AIDA64. The system is stable and the temperature on the CPU remains stable (max 80 degrees), same with the GPU (78). From what I read online, the issue is most likely with Intel Management Engine (the 30 minute timeout specifically). I tried every version of the BIOS available (including the latest BETA available), but it did not alleviate the issue. Another note here. The PC is OLD, but I have not had issues with it until now. The BIOS version that I had when the problems began was 2.10. Here is my spec. MB - ASRock z87 Pro3 CPU - i7 4771 16GBs of RAM 250GB Samsung 840 EVO (OS on it) 250GB Samsung 850 EVO GPU - GeForce GTX 760 4GB Thanks, Tegli4 |
