Since today i can not overclock my 2500k cpu. 3 years i had no problems running the cpu @4.6 ghz. but now my cpu is not overcloking anymore. the complete oc tweaker options are not working. the multiplier i can not set more then 37. i also have ddr 2133 ram but it show me only 1066 and 1333 to choose. before i had run it @2133 and now i can not change it anymore to 2133. and the auto overlcok feature if i set it to 4.4 it safes all the values but its not aplied correctly. i can see it on cpuz. in the oc tweaker its 4.6 but cpuz shows only 3.4 when gaming. when i get in my bios in the oc tweaker its all set to 4.4 via auto overclock but under the main option there shows only 3300. all other options in the bios when i change and save they are all applied correctly but only the values under oc tweaker are not applied and are not working anymore. i reset the bios to default, flashed the same version (3.10) again, took out the battery but nothing helped. still the same problem the oc tweaker does not work anymore!
does anybody know whats wrong with the board? if there any way to get it work again? i hope somebody can help me to get it work again ;)

You didn't say, but did you just update to the 3.10 UEFI version?

Or did this problem with over clocking just happen at random, with no other changes of ANY kind done on the PC? That includes Windows updates, or new Windows installations or upgrades? You've been using the 3.10 UEFI/BIOS version for some time now?

What version of Windows are you using?

If you just updated to the 3.10 UEFI, did you also update the version of the Intel ME software, and the F-Stream utility for your board?

Your symptoms are the usual result of updating to the Sandy Bridge to Ivy Bridge compatibility UEFI/BIOS update (version 3.10) without updating the Intel ME software. You can use your Sandy Bridge processor with this UEFI version, but any over clocking will not work until the IME software is updated.

Did you use any of the Beta UEFI versions (L319, L3.21) before applying the 3.10 update?

i was this way. i sold my whole comp to a friend of mine. all was working with overclock @4.6ghz. if 3.10 bios was installed i really do not know. i was over 1 year not in the bios and didnt check the bios version. perhaps he did the update, but i am not sure. now i have the comp here again to check it. all is working normal @deault clocks. prime95 is running now foor over 13 hours without an error. so i think the hardware is ok!

windows 10 is installed.

before i flashed 3.10 again i checked before the version of the bios and it was 3.10 installed. so i flashed it only over the same version.

intel me software i didnt flashed or installes. can u give me the right links please? i googled but i am not sure which version i have to take for the intel me firmware. is this only a software to install on windows 10? or it is like a bios flash? or both?

i just downloaded this version from the asrock webside for my board:

9/11/2015Windows® 10 64bit
60.72MBIntel Management Engine driver ver:10.1.1.8

when i try to install it, it shows me that the version its already installed on win10 is newer then that one. so i think when i need intel me stuff, then it is a firmware. if its a firmware i will get sure that i take the right one and not the false one ^^ on the asrock websidee where i can download the bios there are also 2 links to download for the fstream utility and the intel me firmware. but the link for the intel me firmware is not working. i get a 404 error.

i didnt use any of the beta bioses on that board.

I am guessing the board is the ASRock Fatal1ty P67 Professional?

If so then the links to the correct intel ME and F-stream versions are linked in the description of the BIOS version.

The BIOS page is here.

yes it it this board. but like i said before when i try to download the intel me i get an 404 error. i read some thread on other forums, there are a lot of peaople having this problem. it seem the best way to fix it, is get another bios chip with older 2.20 version and exchange it.
