Hi,
Having had this motherboard for a few years i decided to upgrade from
amd athlon II x4 630
4gb 2x2gb pc2 6400(ddr2 800)
460gb HD
580w psu
Radeon R7 250 2gb gfx

To:
Amd FX8320e 95w
16gb ddr3 1600mhz
1tb SSD
580 psu
Radeon r7 250 2gb gfx (researching upgrade card).

My issue is having purchased the FX 8320e via the recommended CPU list on asrock website that requires a BIOS of P1.40 or above, the CPU(brand new)is not recognized and wont post, i have tried the only available bios versions..... P1.40
P1.60
p1.70(current)
Everything else works great, cmos reset was also done after each flash.

Im totally stumped as to why its not working when it should.
Anyone else have this issue,i did notice a post a very long time ago with a similar issue but the world has moved on and i was hoping it would have been sorted by Asrock by now.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
regards.

Check for bent pins, reseat the CPU.
Try with 1 stick of ram?

Thanks for the reply, i checked the pins and tried 1 stick of ram in both variants as in ddr3/ddr2 single/dual and still nothing.
