I recently brought a ASRock Z790 PRO RS WIFI LGA1700 ATX Desktop Motherboard. I brought Corsair 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR5 Vengeance C36 6000MHz - Black - this is on the recommended list.
With the 2 x DDR2 in sockets A2 and B2, the computer does not startup - just the red DRAM light. With one of the DDR5's in B2, the computer starts with 16GB. If I put 2 DDR5's in B1 and B2, the computer starts with 32GB, but without XMP profile Have I got a faulty motherboard? |
