MOBO ASRock Z790 Pro RS. BIOS from December 2022.
Ports are SATA 3_7 & 3_8. First added a 16 TB from Seagate. Could not boot. Was spinning on POST. Then added another 20 TB - the only way to make it past POST is to kill it first time and then boot again. It takes approximately between 8-28 (Yes) minutes to boot. Ridicules isn't it? All drives are healthy and the MOBO is also fairly new - from December 2022. Without the new drive it takes usually between 2 - 5 minutes to boot - also ridicules but acceptable. Any ideas? |
