Understanding fan curves

   I setup the fan curves for my CPU and 2 4 pin fans, but not sure if should have DC or PVM as fan stops ok on DC, as the temperature is 20iC and 1st setting is 30oC zero speed  but on PVM it starts spinning, plus there are 4 speeds 2 case fans and CPU and one other can't see what that can be thanks
