Im trying to decide between:

2.5" Samsung 850 EVO (MZ-75E250)
OR
M.2 version of the same SSD (MZ-N5E250)

I know this mobo will allow this version of M.2, but how is the performance?? Is it any faster than a regular 2.5 inch drive on this mobo? Is there anything I should be aware of before buying the m.2?

The 2.5inch drive and the M.2 are very similar in price so.....

My specs:

Windows 10 64-bit
Asrock Z97 Pro4
Samsung 840 Evo
GTX 970

I just purchased a Z97 Pro4 a week ago. Seriously considering returning it.  Giving me all kinds of grief. Cant get it to set up Windows 7, or even run reliably  a pre-installed Win7 drive...
