The download page for the Z87 Extreme4 board shows two different A-Tuning downloads for Win 10 and Win 10 (64 bit) - http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z87%20Extreme4/?cat=Download&os=All
I couldn't find any text to explain this. Is there a reason that some users might want to install A-Tuning v2.0.44, and others would want to use v2.0.269?

I see what you mean about the multiple versions of A-Tuning for the Z87 Extreme4 board.
I also don't know why two versions exist on the same download page. This might be simply a mistake, and the older version was not removed from the download list. Both file links are active. I would just use the latest version, the v2.0.269, which is a much larger file. Were new features added? My Z87 Extreme6 board's download page only has the v2.0.269 version of A-Tuning (which is shared between several boards), so again I would just use that version. You can always uninstall that version and use the earlier version if the newer version does not work well with your board. |
