Hi,

Unfortunately today I came home from work and my home server was unresponsive. I think it may be the ASRock motherboard, I'm hoping some of you could help me diagnose the problem.

I have a Q1900-ITX motherboard, that doesn't fully boot. The LAN lights light up (orange and red) and it starts the case fan and the hard disks. However, it doesnt seem to power up a mouse and it gives no video output and doesn't boot (does not gain IP trough DHCP). It also turns off without holding the button. So far I tried clearing the CMOS and I replaced the memory with a different memory stick. Without result. Does anybody know if this is a known issue and I have to buy a new motherboard? Or may it be fixable?

Hope you can help!
Henk

Thank you for your reply, my server has the following components:

ASRock Q1900-ITX
Crucial CT51264BF1339J
be quiet! System Power 7 300W
Lite-On IHAS124
Intel 320 40GB SSD
Hitachi Deskstar 7K3000 HDS723030ALA640, 3TB

The server has been running for 2,5 years without hardware problems.

Sorry, I meant: it turns off when I press the button, but I don't have to hold the button. I haven't got a spare PSU, unfortunately I threw it away. \ I did however measure the ATX connector of the PSU with a multimeter an hour ago. All readings were good.
