9800 GTX?

If 9800 GTX I'd like to think so but it would likely be a bottleneck as it is rather slow when compared to whatever processor you have and this MB.

The 9800 GTX dates back to 2008.

It was a typo. You are right. It is a 9800.
Can you recommend a replacement?
Thanks again.

That's a loaded question if there ever was one.

What do you do with this computer?

An inexpensive yet very snappy low to mid gaming I'd say the 1050Ti in my Sig. It can be had for under $150.00

Interesting, for Photoshop and Lightroom the monitor is really the more important element of the build, you want good (perfect?) color reproduction as well as a solid contrast ratio. For the GPU itself you could get away with just about anything really so long as it has 2gb or more of vRAM and is capable of outputting a nice high resolution.

The 1050ti as Wardog suggested would be a solid option that will allow you to run multiple desktops (monitors) for optimal productivity and has plenty of grunt for photoshop and lightroom. If you game a little on the side it also won't disappoint there though don't expect 4k gaming, 1080p is the sweet spot for the 1050ti. An RX 460 or 470 would also do the trick very nicely. The main goal would be outputs and longevity which all 3 of these options will provide.
