Have an install of Windows 10 1607 on a new drive. Apart of Etron, had to install 0.119, everything else seem fine, but, there is an unknown device ven_1934&dev_1205 which i can't find over the net. What do i have to install for it?

I do, but that is VEN_1814&DEV_0781&SUBSYS_130F1043

Anyway, there was load of glitches with that setup and lots of errors in logs. Done clean install, seem to be ok now.

ven_1934&dev_1205 doesn't appear anymore.

hehehe you moved an old Windows install onto a completely different motherboard. Yea, that doesn't work so well 99.99% of the time.

no. just replaced hdd. everything else was same. but something got broken after cloning. all drives were having code 31 and code 43 errors. and lots of different service has unexpectedly stopped errors. it was sector by sector close. so very strange. so i reinstalled windows over the current. ven_1934&dev_1205 popped up. google wasn't much helpful. only something related to asrock z170 series. but mine is p67.

then did a clean install. sadly have to spend few weeks now reinstalling apps.

anyway. deploying windows image into 100% different hardware would actually work in 99%. if you change motherboard/ram/cpu you won't have any problem, unless there are no specific required driver. ahci for example. so you usually switch to ide for a first boot.

but i was doing direct clone this time. something went wrong and didn't copy probably.

Copied over via USB? Why not simply attach it to the SATA ports and not run the risk of moving THAT much data over USB?

IMO USB is great but not while moving a drives worth of OS, programs, drivers, and other assorted accompanying files.
