Is there a reason you need the OROM and VBIOS updates besides the newer versions exist?

A newer version does not automatically mean it is better than the older version. Intel has released new versions of the IRST RAID/AHCI driver that were later removed from their download page because of problems. The CPU microcode update for socket 1150 Broadwell processors (five total) is only useful if you will be using a Broadwell processor. Intel may be limiting the use of Broadwell processors with the 9 series chipset boards. My guess is that there will not be a BIOS/UEFI update for the Z87 Pro4 board with the updates you listed. |

You can only use one, the option rom or the EFI RAID driver in the UEFI/ BIOS, so don't see why you want both.

The newest series that the 8 chipset series can run is a 14 series.  14.5.0.2241  but the 13 series if the fastest with least bugs.  The EFI GOP Driver Haswell  is 5.0.1037, The Broadwell is a 5.5.1033. No, they stay with the most stable version, I assume if you can find this info about all these you should be able to do it. It's very easy to inject the OROM, EFI RAID, GOP.    |

This means you tried to modify the BIOS / UEFI .

Look for a program called  UEFI Tool, and make sure you read about it, also make sure you know you're correctly  Injecting / updating.  ******  Ask for help on the site you posted. ****** Also make sure you're checking your work before  you remove  the  BODY  and flash the file. Remember there could be a chance of  problems and even becoming unbootable.   So check your work. I probably shouldn't have told you on this site it was easy to do it yourself. ASrock doesn't want people to Mod the file  because you could have a problem.    This is why I  really shouldn't explain  anything here, I figured you posted the best site for this sort of work and would get help.   Edited by odiebugs - 14 Jul 2015 at 11:50pm |
