Turn on without monitor H81 PRO BTC R2.0

   I have tried everything I know to turn on my rig without a monitor connected. But it won't boot to windows, without the HDMI in the first GFX card connected.
I know this was fixed with a BIOS update on the H81 PRO BTC mobo, but R2.0 has not had a BIOS update since 2014. I cannot understand why a revision is more obsolete than the original.

Does anyone know any workaround apart from making false hdmi dongles? This should be fixed with a BIOS update.

	You will need to take it up with Tech Support I'm afraid. Short of making an HDMI dongle there is no workaround I am aware of. In server applications I tend to prefer installing a small 4 - 7" HDMI/DVI monitor in the case itself so I don't need to hook up a display if I have issues. These can be picked up pretty cheap these days and save a lot of headaches. But if headless is what you want then try Tech Support. http://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp

	I need this too with a J3455 board. I don't understand why they would prevent booting in the first place.
