Hi,
I just ordered Yours MB X370 Gaming K4, Ryzen 1600X and RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4, 2x8GB, 3200MHz, CL16 (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16).
Reading further some forums around, I went to 2 basic question (too late, I know):
1. Ryzen 1600x is supported since bios ver. P2.0. I expect, bios version on ordered MB will be lower. Will the system start, enabling me to update bios, or it's not possible?
2. This Corsair's RAM is not listed as supported. Will it start with lowered speed, or it won't boot?

thx.

Hi,

Yes Ryzen 1600X will be fully supported, with the 2.10 bios it's sure.

yes you will very probably get a lower memory speed, i am fighting right now with an almost same memory (CMU16GX4M2C3200C16 - I think its the same with Led) and get only 2933 Mhz (on Killer SLI) with bad timing. (16-18-18-36 at 1,38V) (maybe gain instable, i am testing it). (In all case, X370 asrock motherboard are specified, for now, for 2933 Mhz max)

Its also possible you dont arrive to get more than 2400 Mhz.

sorry if bad english, not my native langage.

thanks!
Just to clarify:
"Yes Ryzen 1600X will be fully supported, with the 2.10 bios it's sure."
Does it mean - I can boot it with bios e.g. P1.50 or older?

it will or that mean that Asrock sell not compatible motherboard XD

but will it be 100% compatible ? maybe not (like loose of performance) it's why you should update bios if you know do it.

please remember to
ONLY UPDATE BIOS
under dos or inside the bios with instant flash

DO NOT USE WINDOWS BASED FLASH !

and by the way some of us do have 3200 ram running at 3200

we can advise on here how to try the best to get there
or read the countless threads where i keep repeating how to try different things

it really is easier tyan me typing the same thing again and again Smile
