Hi!
I've tried windows 10 (with old drivers, new drivers, different players, etc), LibreElec, local storage, network storage and I can not play 4k (2160p) videos without alot of stuttering, especially if encoded with h.265 HEVC. Even Big Buck Bunny (h.264) 2160p has some stuttering. This video http://4ksamples.com/elysium-2013-2160p-1-minute-sample-footage/ is impossible to see with all 4 cores of the CPU always at 100%! Since and I quote from Asrock site: "- Supports HW Accelerated Decoders: H.264 @ level 5.2, H.265/HEVC @ level 5 (GPU accelerated), JPEG, VP8" "- Supports HDMI with max. resolution up to 4K x 2K (3840x2160) @ 30Hz or 2560x1600 @ 60Hz" ...this board should be more than enough to watch some 4k videos without any type of problems. So am I wrong or am I doing something wrong? The setup Asrock J3160DC-ITX 1x4G DDR3L SODIMM 120GB SSD 4K Sony TV Hope someone can help me or else I have to get this board back to the seller. Thanks for everything. |
