Hi all !
I recently bought a new config : CPU : Ryzen 5 1600 GPU : KFA2 GTX 1060 6Go MOBO : Asrock AB350 pro4 (latest BIOS) RAM : Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 Vengeance LPX (2x8GB) DDR4 3200Mhz CL16 v5.39 (Hynix i suppose) HDD : Samsung EVO 500 Go + WB 2To + Barracuda 2To PSU : Enermax SFX 550W OS : Win 10 or Ubuntu 16.04LTS My ram have these parameters 16-18-18-18-36-54 1.35v i try 2133 to 3200Mhz. But all time i have some random freeze and reboot for nothing. If i want to launch Batteflied 1 some i can reach but sometimes can't, when i can i have 20fps on Ultra settings .... and on Furmark benchmark 10fps ... I changed the PSU (with a Corsair 650W) same problem I tested my GPU to an other PC with intel platform no problem work well (furmark : 60 fps) I changed the Mobo (previously MSI PC B350 Mate) same issues .. I unplugged all HDD and SDD and install a new ubuntu 16.04LTS and same plroblem ... Anybody thinks it's a RAM compatibility issue with my MOBO ? I now my RAM isn't i the QVL of asrock AB350 pro4 but i see many guys works with it. Thank in advance ! |

That ram is trash with Asrock even though it's on the official AMD supported list running at 3200. It's a bug with Asrock motherboard

Hi guys thank for your reply !
BIOS version : P3.00 Put in A2 and B2 Slot. I put my GPU to an other PC with a PSU lesser (450W - intel platform) and work prefectly. Some news, I changed my RAM for a compatible RAM from QLV list for Asrock AB350 Pro 4 -> 2*8Go G.Skill F4-2400C15D-16GFT Timming : 15-15-15-39 1.2V PC419200 AMD ready ... AND .... same issue sometimes cursor freeze a little bit and sometimes PC reboot for nothing ... MOBO changed RAM changed Try with a Corsair 650W Try with an other HDD (maybe can be produce interference or someting) What's a hell ! What is wrong with me ? x) No advice ?

Is this a fresh windows install?
If not try a fresh installation, I had hangups with my AM4 system (freeze then resume after 20-30 seconds) and tried changing everything, board, CPU, RAM, PSU, GPU, drives, every component. In the end it turned out to be an OS glitch because I had not performed a fresh install after putting the boot drive in another system. Make sure you download the latest install media too, I reinstalled from an old Win 10 image and I still had issues, the problems for me started when the system installed the Anniversary Update. Downloading and installing from a newer image that includes the update out of the box fixed it. Good luck

Thank all for your support but finally i found the issue .... it due to my pc case ... Thermaltake G3 with the famous ... Riser (see at : http://www.thermaltake.com/Chassis/Accessories_/_/C_00002784/PCI_e_X16_Riser_Cable/design.htm)
So i need to change it for a new one ... more reliable. AHHH i'm not a newbie for build a PC at least ... But bad point for ThermalTake with riser.
