Hi,
MB: AB350M Pro4
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600x
BIOS: P2.40
HDD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB, WDC WD Blue 1TB

The SATA interface specs of the AB350M are, from the specifications:
... 4 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s Connectors, support RAID (RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 10), NCQ, AHCI and Hot
Plug.
But in BIOS (F2->ADvanced->Storage Config->SATA Controllers <ENABLED>
and SATA Mode <AHCI Mode | RAID Mode>)
No "Hot Plug" option.
If somebody has any ideea, please enlighten me.

Best regards,

Many thanks to Asrock TSD [Asrock_TSD@asrock.com.tw] for this replay:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for contacting ASRock.

Please update to BIOS P3.00 to check the SATA hot plug option.

Download: http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/BIOS/AM4/AB350M%20Pro4(3.00)ROM.zip

How to update: http://www.asrock.com/support/BIOSIG.asp?cat=BIOS8

Step1: Please make a bootable USB device in the first step, and the USB format should be FAT32.

Step2: Unzip the file and save ROM file in root directory of bootable USB device.
Step3: Load BIOS default, and enter BIOS > Tool > Press [instant fresh]
( Press [Del] in post screen )

Step4: During BIOS updating, do not plug off the power.

After finishing the process, please enter the main page of BIOS to check BIOS version.

Thank you!

Have a great day,

ASRock TSD
