Hi all,
recently ive purchased this fatal1ty gaming x mobo alongside with ryzen 5 1600x and g.skill trident z 32GB ddr4-3200 (f4-3200c14d-32gtz) (non ryzen optimized version btw)
as they are listed in mem qvl as supported so i bought em coz they are dual side which performs better than single side ram kits
in qvl its stated that mobo supports xmp at 2933MHz which is valid for a2/b2 slots
anyway
during some testing ive noticed that bios doesnt apply ddr vltage correctly
so u set 1.35V, but bios keeps 1.25V (visible in bios or with 3rd party tools)
u set 1.45V and u get 1.35V
and with this setting 3200MHz XMP works just fine :) even with lower timings than in XMP

so id like to know if anybody noticed this?

and there is also one more interresting thing with this mobo (dunno if cpu bug tho)
when i disable HPET weird things starts to happen..
most of syntethic benchmarks are okay, except passmark's performance test - cpu floating point test
that one gets crappy low score with HPET disabled
another thing is that whenever CPU gets ~2core full usage sound stutters while doing things around
(like having opened youtube 1080p60fps videoclip in background while googlin something)
pc seems kinda sluggish
so with HPET enabled its all fine even ram latencies gets lower a bit

so dunno about that one who to blame

ddr voltage at
2.5 or 3.5 or 4.5 volts will result in dead ram sticks

do you mean 1.25/1.35.and 1.45 volts ?
