ASROCK H110 Pro BTC was posting. now its not

   Hello, 
I just received my brand new ASROCK H110 PRO BTC+ board. Today I started out with the following: 

Installed Intel Pentium G4440 Processor
Installed 16 GB Ripjaw DDR4 ram (2x8)
Upon installation, I booted and was greeted with the ASROCK splash screen and was entered into BIOS. Upon checking that I was using the latest firmware, I powered down motherboard and grabbed a brand new HP M700 SSD 120 GB. I connected SSD to both power supply and motherboard. Upon trying to reboot, machine powered on for a fraction of a second and then turned off. I cut off power at motherboard, checked connections, and tried again. I tried this numerous times. 

After no luck, I unplugged SATA cables to SSD and tried to power on, only this time no splash screen. The motherboard powers up, but no display to my monitor. The fan on the CPU is spinning. I can also see LEDs on my Gigabit ethernet port (plugged in ethernet cable to check this) as well as LED on my USB boot drive. Other than that, I have no idea what is going on. I believe the board is not posting at this point. 

As troubleshooting steps, I have tried: 
Powering off motherboard, and rechecking connections
Removing CMOS battery
Changing CMOS jumper to reset position (left battery out for 10 minutes)
But none of that has worked. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
