Hello, I got a new system / mainboard and did a BIOS flash from 3.20 to 3.40 everything went fine, but the second from 3.40 to 4.60 I've no boot screen, it's just black when I'm using two 1080 Tis.

I know that SLI is only possible at X370 Mainboards, but that's not the plan.

It's only possible to get a bootscreen when using one of two1080 Ti, but not both at the same time, each cards were tested and are ok.

Downgrading to 4.40, 3.40 (which once worked when updating from 3.20 with both cards), 3.30 doesn't help, trying again now 3.20, but I don't think this will help...

Can't really say what's that type of bug?!

Removing everythime the BIOS battery and clear CMOS were often done.

All BIOS flahes were done with Instant flash (V2121) and an original BIOS file from http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350%20Pro4/#BIOS

No matter if the monitor is pluged via DP in the 1st or 2nd card, no boot screen.

No settings have been changed, no overclocking, nothing.

System:

AMD Ryzen 7 1800X

ASRock AB350 Pro4

2 x 8 GB G.Skill Trident Z F4-3200C14D-16GTZ

2 x Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti

250 GB Samsung 960 Evo

be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 850 Watt

your problem is two fold here

first the latest bios is erm how to say ?  not ideal .............

second problem seems to be another instance of 'traces of later bios' remaining while flashing back

solution ?

if you have flashed back to bios 3.20 then find the latest  DOS version of bios and use the DOS method to flash this seems to properly erase and then write the bios chip properly then normal flash to the last bios version you was stable and happy with
