Hello everyone,
At first: I solved it - just writing this for anyone who experiences the same problem. I experienced weird sound-issues in Battlefield 1 after I updated to BIOS 4.60. Primarily the background/environment sound/music disappears and reappears randomly while voices of soldiers and weapon sounds stay - this occurs for a 1-2 second period maybe. It's not the onboard audio - tried an external sound card and headset with integrated sc, same issues. I tried nearly everything to eliminate the problems in BIOS and game options: -updated Chipset, graphic and sound drivers -instead of ASRock OC I used AMD CBS to configure P-States and overclock (tried stock clock and lower/higher voltages in P-States, too) -disable/enable SMT -ram was oced to 2666 MHz, back to stock timings and clock, not solving the problem... -different bf1 sound/graphic profiles, online and offline game -Load Line Calibration options -etc.... Today I went back to BIOS 3.50 (Bridge-BIOS), not 4.50 because of the buggy dram-voltage switch Now everything has gone back to normal and the problems in BF1 are gone. My system: AMD R5 1600X @3825MHz 1,275V cooled by a Mugen 5 + Noctua NF-S12A ASrock X370 Gaming K4 2x 8GB Kingston HyperX 2400MHz CL15-29 1,2V @2666MHz CL 16-15-15-29 1,215V Gainward GTX 1060 Phoenix GS Sandisk 240 Ultra II (Windows 10/BF1 installed) Best regards Luckson ![]() Edited by Lucks0n - 20 Mar 2018 at 3:18am |
