So I have recently bought new PC, I have installed w10 and have noticed that I have 6.93 GB usable ram out of 8. I know that r3 2200g has integrated vega graphics but I use external graphics card gtx 1050.
It seems that APU steals part of my ram. Is there any option to turn it off, or limit to very small value due to i do not need it? If yes please tell me where to find it in bios and how its called. My bios version 4.70 Note that i found in bios primary pcie card and set it to ext GPU, didn not work. Specs: Ryzen 3 2200g MBO: ASROCK AB350 PRO 4 RAM: GOODRAM IDRIUM X 3000mhz 8gb x1 ( second stick is oredered due to fact i did not know that single chanel sucks on raven ridge) BiOS: 4.70 Edited by WhoYouGonaCall - 26 Mar 2018 at 7:03am |

6.93 sounds about right.
Press ctrl+alt+delete, select task Manager, select Performance tab, then click Memory at the left. |

In device manager APU was enabled.
So i went to bios to given path and in GFX configuration folder, and found there only integrated graphics adapter cotroller, changed AUTO to disabled, saved changes, restarted... and the only thing that has changed is APU is not any more visible in device manager, available ram is still at 6.93GB . Went back to bios but did not find shared ram option. That is propably the clue, but as I said i can not find this option in BIOS. It is not visible at Advanced\AMD CBS\NBIO Common Options\GFX Configuration path Edited by WhoYouGonaCall - 26 Mar 2018 at 5:02pm |

Well, I can not check those, because the only option in GFX configuration is Integrated Graphics Controller, no other subfolders etc
