for posting topics such as:

how do I edit my own posts?

why is the location field too short for my location?

why does the birt-hdate form not allow showing birth year only, or birth day or month only without the year?

Is the forum 'patrolled' by asroch techies or only by users and lurkers?

Hi bad sector, welcome to the forums

1: You can't edit your posts, you can thank spammers for that, they made
seemingly useful posts then came back in an hour or more and edited spam links
into their posts so now no one can edit. It was almost impossible to keep on top of.

2: I would guess it's a default setting in the forum backend.

3: Same as 2

4: ASRock_TSD is a forum account used by ASRock's tech support staff. Pretty much
everyone else is just a user such as yourself, me included.

5: The forum backend is coded in China, the "?" issue in thread titles is just one
of many character (letter, number etc) related bugs.

Hopefully none of that is too much of a put-off

Thanks, the primary issue for me was to know that this forum is operated exclusively by asrock on asrock servers, for popular reasons. With that settled nothing is a put-off :-)
