I recently updated my Z97 Extreme4 Bios using Instant Flash 2.6. Before installing I was running the most recent version of Windows 10 and after the installing it booted me into a version of Windows 7. I have absolutely no clue how this could happen. Only thing is that I was running Windows 7 a very long time ago, and then updated to 10. Maybe Microsoft keeps a backup of 7 when upgrading to 10 incase I wanted to rollback and the bios is picking that up? I'm not sure. Anyone ever run into this problem?

that sounds very odd. yes windows keeps a backup when u only do an upgrade, but it should only come up after you did a rollback while windows is running.
