This is certainly not my first attempt at such a thing but frustrating to say the least.
taichi z390 with samsung 970 pro m.2 when booting off the windows 10 (latest installer 1803) throws an error for missing media driver. This is NOT the first time this has happened to me, mostly on other systems and usually its the CSM and SATA mode. CSM is UEFI Only and SATA is AHCI. Still I am unable to install win10. I have also tried a trusty USB of win10 1709 multi edition that has worked on other systems with this issue however not here. Slipstreaming a windows disk is quite the headache so I have (in the past) acquired the storage controller drivers and placed them on a USB stick to load at this error however despite the windows installer finding the driver it still is incapable of moving forward. Please advise. |
