Hello! Is my H370 Pro4 motherboard compatible with Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 V-NAND 3-bit MLC (MZ-V7S500BW)? I don't know if it's worth buying SSD.

Dear Hardoman,
Thank you for choosing ASRock. Regarding your question, we have tested at our lab, the Samsung 970 EVO works properly with H370 Pro4. ![]() Thank you! Yours truly, ASRock TSD |

Hello there,
today, I got my H370 Pro 4 delivered and I ordered a 500GB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 PCIe with it to use it as OS partition for WIN 10. The technical specs of the mainbord should be good for using the EVO however, its not listed on the supported SSDs listing. Since the SSD is still inside the sealed package, should I better return it and get a product, that is on the support list or should I try something like this: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/986492-asus-rog-strix-h370-i-and-samsung-970-evo-bios-issue/ Please let me know if there are any chances to get it working (if I would give it a try.) Many thanks in advance. ![]() Best regards |
