Well, for one it's ASRock. Guys are not known for solid FW/SW implementations, contrary to what their name may suggest.
On the topic - 2 things come to mind: - misplaced CPU. Threadrippers are not novice-friendly. On top of that there are some bad Foxconn sockets which are extra nasty. Bad contact between CPU and some socket pins can cause issues. Try re-seating the CPU. - you can try and run the sticks @ 2133 for starters and see if mobo and Win pick 32GB. Then I suggest you memetest each RAM stick individually at both XMP and 2133 (or whatever is their JEDEC default). It could be many other things, though - from missing aux CPU power cable to faulty mobo, and everything in between. |

Hi dear people
I have a problem with my memory' I have build a new system 4 days ago. I have 2X 16G placed in bank A2 / B2 but My second memory is not shown in the bios and indicates 16G Dual channel mode? Windows 10 also sees only 16G but CPU-Z does see 32G I have 2x 16g of Kingston KVR21N15D8 / 16 and are on the list as 2/4/8 I tested the rams and they work fine, I also update the bios of the lastest firmware and I have cleared the CMOS, but nothing helps. I just want my 32G how hard can it be? |
