Aren't XMP profiles saved in the RAM itself?
The XMP profile should appear in BIOS even if RAM isn't in the QVL, right? |

That RAM has the ASRock X470 Taichi listed in it's QVL so you should be able to just enable XMP, save and reboot. That should get you running at the rated clocks of the RAM.

Well, mobo looks good, but settings make me drown in it.
It needs time to understand all of it, but right now could somebody tells me how to deal with RAM? Some kind of simple solution to apply. I have this memory: https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3200c14d-16gtzrx But it works on a very low frequency. How can I force it to work properly on their normal 3200 Mhz? |
