Z890 Taichi: Package C-States not working
Hello! I recently purchased a Z890 Taichi. I noticed that the system PACKAGE C-States DO NOT WORK at all. They are reported as 0 or absent by ThrottleStop or HWInfo64. The PER CORE C-States DO WORK. I have enabled all relative C-States options in the BIOS, I have also enabled ASPM (which do seem to work). I have read in another thread, a user being Stuck at C2 or C3, but I don't even get there. I am interested in the Package C-State because I like low system power use when idle. I am currently at 60W. In my experience with other mobos, I should be able to get 25W~30W. My setup: z890 taichi, Intel 265F, 2x16gb DDR5 ram, SN770 NVME, 3060 GPU. No overclock, neither of ram nor of cpu. |
